WACO (June 18, 2013)—Seth Dorrell, 32, one of the sons of Mission Waco founder Jimmy Dorrell, died on Father’s Day in Mexico City of a heart attack while on a mission trip.

Dorrell was director of Mission World at Mission Waco.

He and his parents, sister and brother-in-law had just finished the mission trip when he suffered the heart attack, evidently the result of a two-year battle with cancer.

He’s survived by his wife Sarah and daughter Finley, parents, Jimmy and Janet Dorrell, his brothers Josh and Zach, and his sister Crystalania.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at OakCrest Funeral Home in Waco.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
