A teenager was jailed Monday, charged with providing marijuana to minors.

WACO (October 21, 2013)-A teenager was held Monday in the McLennan County Jail charged with providing marijuana to minors.

Austin Louis Gonzalez, 18, was ordered held on bonds totaling $13,000 charged with four counts of delivery of a controlled substance/marijuana to a child and one count of possession of a controlled substance/marijuana, McLennan County online jail records showed.

Waco police were sent at around 6:15 p.m. Sunday to a neighborhood near a church at North 26th Street and Morrow Avenue where officers found five people, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.

Police discovered the adult in the group had a marijuana cigarette.

He was arrested for possession of marijuana and for making marijuana available to children.

The four juveniles also were detained, but had not been charged Monday morning.
