WACO (November 23, 2012)--A trash truck overturned Friday morning in West Waco spilling part of its load, but no one was injured.
A Waco police officer at the scene on Imperial Drive just under Loop 340 said at around 11 a.m. the truck was turning under Loop 340 on Imperial Drive when a leaf spring broke and caused the truck to overturn.
The driver was not injured and only a small amount of trash was spilled onto the roadway.
The Imperial Drive turn-around under Loop 340 was closed for a short time while the truck was righted and towed from the scene.
