WACO (July 11, 2013)--A Waco woman was held Thursday in the McLennan County Jail charged in connection with a May 2 knifepoint robbery.

Gretta Kerrcheskia Green, 46, was arrested Wednesday on a Waco police warrant that was issued after a 54-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint on May 2 at a home on Morrow Avenue, Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.

Swanton said the man was walking along the street when a woman he knew only by her first name invited him into her home.

After the victim got inside, the woman asked if she could borrow $1 and the victim gave it to her, and then she left the house.

The victim stayed behind with a man and another woman whom he did not know.

At some point the second woman pulled a knife and told the victim to give her the rest of his money, then told him to leave the house.

The victim waited until the next day to report the robbery, but after he did detectives were able to identify a suspect and obtain a warrant.
