WACO (October 11, 2012)--The Midway ISD Education Foundation has received $2,500 from a fundraiser in which $20 was contributed for each Dodge vehicle that was test driven.
The Dodge “Ride and Drive Event” was held last month at Midway High School.
“We had 125 test drives between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., right up until the opening kickoff of the Midway Panthers home opener,” Allen Samuels General Manager Ted Teague said.
The check will go toward classroom grant programs with a portion of it to be shared with Midway High School PTA since the event was held at their community tailgate party.
