WACO (January 10, 2013)--The Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association (THSBCA) will hold a convention beginning Thursday at the Waco Convention Center.
The convention is in its 42nd year.
The THSBCA was created to handle concerns of rule changes, coach-umpire relations, and other issues related to the sport.
They also are in charge of recognizing players and coaches through award programs.
More than 3,000 people are expected to be in attendance and the event is believed to have an economic impact of more than $6 million, Marketing and Communications Coordinator Mindy Spikes said.
The convention runs through Saturday.
