WACO (September 3, 2012)--Talitha Koum Institute, a therapeutic nurture center that focuses on brain development of at-risk children, is getting help from Baylor and Alice Starr, the wife of the school’s president, which will save it approximately $20,000.
The company's new facility, the old home of the Boys Club of Waco, came with a Junior Olympic size pool that the company wants filled.
The cost to fill the pool is estimated at $20,000, a company spokesperson said.
On Wednesday or Thursday, Alice Starr and Baylor are expected to arrive at the facility with 18-wheelers full of dirt from their baseball field renovation project.
The dirt will be used to help fill the pool saving the organization thousands of dollars.
