WACO (October 17, 2012)--Stuart and Gina Solomon, of Virginia, were recently named Baylor University’s Parents of the Year for 2012.
The couple graduated in 1985 from the university where they met and married shortly after.
Since then, they have stayed very involved in campus activities, a Baylor spokesperson said.
The Solomons have three children, Melissa, Michelle and Jeffrey, all of whom are enrolled at the school.
“We are delighted to honor Stu and Gina Solomon as our Parents of the Year… they are outstanding representatives of the values and Christian ideals that are at the heart of Baylor University," Parents League Director Judy Maggard said.
