WACO (March 20, 20130)—A weekend event centered on the outdoors will introduce families to a variety of recreational activities.

On Saturday and Sunday families will enjoy demonstrations of kayaks, police k-9 units, dog agility, model airplane flying, falconry, fly fishing and more.

A sports show will get underway featuring all-terrain vehicles, RVs and boats.

Free food will be available and children can take part in a variety of activities just for them.

Admission is free for both days.

It all begins at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday at Twin Bridges Park on Waco Lake.

Saturday’s activities will end at 6 p.m. and Sunday’s will end at 4 p.m.

The Sports Show and Safety Fair is sponsored by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
