WACO (November 12, 2012)--On Tuesday, one of two autographed Werner Ladders used to hang the Baylor Bears’ championship banner will be donated to Mission Waco to auction off.

The ladders were donated to both the men and women’s basketball team so that the national champions could cut down the nets.

Baylor’s Lady Bears will donate their autographed ladder to Mission Waco which works to help the poor and homeless in the Waco area.

During the Lady Bears’ game against Kentucky, the team will hang their championship banner and the ladder will be donated to be sold at a silent auction beginning Wednesday.

The highest bidder will receive the item at Mission Waco’s banquet February 5.

The Baylor Lady Bears won the championship after their 40-0 run.
