WACO (October 7, 2013) -- Five thousand pumpkins flood the lawn of Central Christian Church on Lake Shore Drive.
This is the church's seventh year in a row to have the pumpkin patch.
The patch opened last Monday and will stay open until Halloween.
Each year, money raised from the patch goes to the church's youth ministries with a portion going back to the pumpkin farm and a portion is given back to the community.
Senior Minister Brian Coats says, the pumpkin patch is more than a place to buy pumpkins and take pictures, the church has story time and movies in the patch throughout the month.
