WACO (October 16, 2012)—The Waco-McLennan County Library System’s Genealogy Division in cooperation with the Central Texas Genealogical Society will host the 12th annual Genealogy Lock-in Friday.
It will feature a genealogy beginner’s class, reenactments, ancestor’s road show and informal tutorials.
Numerous hereditary societies will be represented at the event.
Early registration for pre-event programming begins at 1:30 p.m. at the West Waco Library and Genealogy Center.
Registration for the evening begins at 5:30 p.m.
The lock-in is expected to last from 6:30 p.m. until 12 a.m. and is free to attend.
