WACO (December 13, 2012)--A holiday celebration was held Thursday for all homeless veterans and veterans who were formerly homeless.
The celebration was sponsored by the VA Health Care System and was held at the Waco VA Medical Center.
Food and desserts were served and attendees were able to receive a free coat and other gifts.
The event is intended to provide support to veterans who end up spending the holidays alone.
