WACO (October 1, 2012)--A bachelor’s degree in health is now possible at MCC.
Tarleton State University has added a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Health Professions Technology to its list of degrees offered at MCC.
The associate degrees that will transfer to the program include: biotechnology, dental hygiene, emergency medical services, paramedicine, histology, medical laboratory technology, medical office assistant, occupational therapy, paramedic management, physical therapy, radiologic technology, respiratory care, nursing, health information technology, medical assistant, surgical technology, long-term care administration and coding specialist.
“The degree incorporates 42 hours of general education requirements, 33 hours from an associate degree or certificate and 45 hours of upper-level courses from Tarleton," a school spokesperson said.
