WACO (November 16, 2012)--A $25,000 grant from the Waco Foundation’s Masterson Fund will benefit a new Scott & White Cancer Center in Waco.

The grant will be used to expand cancer diagnostic and treatment technologies at the center at the Scott & White Cancer Center – Hillcrest.

Construction on the building began earlier this month and should be complete in about a year.

The $19.5 million center will offer patients outpatient cancer treatments including radiation therapy, medical oncology and infusion chemotherapy.
