Waco: Police Ask For Help In Finding Hit-And-Run Driver

WACO (November 20, 2012)—Waco police investigators Tuesday asked for the public’s help in finding a driver who left the scene of a three vehicle accident that left a man injured.

The accident happened just before 7 a.m. on Nov. 6 on the northbound interstate at the North 5th Street exit.

A maroon 2009 Kia sedan whose driver slowed because of construction was rear ended by a silver 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan, which in turn was struck by a 1998 gray GMC Sonoma pickup truck.

Then a silver four-door car ran into the rear of the pickup, whose driver suffered a possible broken leg and back injury.

The silver car left the accident scene, however, and police are looking for help in tracking down the driver.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the Waco Police Department at (254) 750-7500.
