WACO (August 5, 2014) Waco’s Rapoport Academy has received a $100,000 grant from the Meadows Foundation to be used to help fund building renovations.

The money will go toward renovating the Gomez Building on Waco’s historic Quinn campus, on which the academy has completed four renovation projects since 2003.

The Gomez houses 17 high school classrooms, a band hall, seminar rooms and office space.

“We appreciate the Meadows Foundation’s vision for supporting the revitalization of downtown Waco through the renovation of a historically significant building on Quinn Campus,” said Rapoport Superintendent, Dr. Matthew Polk.
