WACO (September 28, 2012)--The Waco Salvation Army’s food pantry is very bare, a spokesperson said.
As of Thursday, the food pantry shelves had 20 jars of peanut butter, and less than 6 cans of tuna fish.
Nonperishable food items can be brought to 4721 W. Waco Drive Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Donations can also be brought to the Salvation Army Family Store Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Items include but are not limited to canned meat, canned vegetables, rice, beans, cereal, peanut butter and jelly.
