Waco: Series Of Meetings Geared Toward Bicyclists And Pedestrians

WACO (February 22, 2013)--A series of meetings beginning Monday will address transportation issues and will center around bicycle and pedestrian facilities around the county.

The Waco Metropolitan Planning Organization will hold meetings Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 6 p.m. at different locations to appease residents across the county.

Residents can come and go at their leisure to provide their input but a presentation will be made at the beginning of each meeting.

Monday’s meeting will be held at the Hewitt Meeting and Events Center at 208 Chama Drive.

Tuesday’s meeting will be held at the Waco Operations Center at 1415 N. 4th Street and Wednesday’s meeting will be held at the Lacy Lakeview Civic Center on E. Craven.
