WACO (June 20, 2013)--A historian at the First Presbyterian Church in Waco will take audience members back in time to remember the relocation efforts that took place following the Waco Tornado of 1953.

Historian Milly Walker will offer first-hand accounts of the storm, pictures and materials from the church’s archives to highlight the efforts of area church members, social workers and the American Red Cross to help those who lost their homes and businesses.

The program is sponsored by the Dr. Pepper Museum and Free Enterprise Institute as well as the Waco History Project.

It is set to begin at 2 p.m. in the Hillcrest Conference Room at the Dr. Pepper Museum on 5th Street.
