WACO (January 29, 2013)--The Women’s Professional Rodeo Association announced Tuesday that Waco’s Extraco Events Center will be home to the WPRA World Finals for the next two years.
With the announcement comes a boost to the economy and an opportunity for local families to watch the crowning of world champions in the roping divisions.
The event has been held in Nebraska in years past.
The facilities in Waco include two large indoor arenas, 700 dirt stalls, 250 RV spaces, a large exhibitor area and nearby hotel accommodations.
The WPRA World Finals will be held October 22-25 this year and October 23-27 in 2014.
