WACO (July 13, 2012)--Steven Eugene Belville was in the McLennan County Jail Friday after his arrest in connection with a February robbery in which a 12-pack of beer was taken.

Belville, 52, was ordered held in lieu of $30,000 bond, charged with aggravated robbery.

Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said Belville was arrested on a Waco police warrant in the Feb. 28 robbery in which a man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head walked into a convenience store just before midnight, spoke to the clerk and headed for the coolers.

The clerk told officers the man picked up a 12-pack of beer and started to walk out the door.

When the man was confronted about paying for the beer, he pulled out a knife and threatened the clerk, police said.
