WACO (June 26, 2012)-A Waco Independent School District police officer turned himself in Tuesday at the McLennan County Jail after a warrant for his arrest was issued charging misuse of official information.
Ramon Yepez, 32, is accused of using the Texas Crime Index Center for his personal use, which is a 3rd Degree felony.
Waco police detectives say on June 23 Yepez used a computer terminal at the Waco ISD Police Department search the TCIC database for information about individual for an unofficial reason.
Police say Yepez later was involved in a personal altercation with that individual, police said.
