WEST (January 30, 2013)--The 1963 West Trojanettes state champs will be recognized during half time of Tuesday’s basketball game.
The 2012-13 team will play against Connally at 6:30 p.m. in the West High School gym.
A ceremony is planned for halftime and a reception will get underway when the game ends.
The team took home the state championship after defeating Little Cypress, located in Orange, Texas.
The final score was 49-42.
