WEST (January 9, 2013)--Lanes were shut down Tuesday evening after an accident on I-35 southbound near West.
According to I-35 Information Specialist Jodi Wheatley all southbound lanes were closed near FM 2114 after an accident involving a semi truck and passenger car just after 6 p.m.
Two concrete barriers were knocked out of position.
The condition of the drivers was not known.
Traffic was temporarily diverted to the access road at exit 354/Marable Street.
Lanes opened back up about an hour after the accident.
