@ Jill...oh how your ignorance is showing! Obama didn't come because he doesn't care. You heard his statement on the day of the shooting, 2 hours after it happened. He had to talk about the Native American summit and "give a shout out" to some of his pals before he even mentioned the shooting. His true colors are starting to show.

I am so sick of hearing that President Bush started "this". I really feel sorry for ignorant people!! Anyway I had the honor and privilege to meet President Bush and Laura Bush. I know it meant a lot to the soldiers and their families as well as my fellow co-workers!

Real American.."Why is it alway the coward who never service in the military, alway talking in the background".."If you not willing to service don't complain"..So by your own definition Obama is a coward because he did not "service in the military"..I read no one complaining about the military or military service..Only about a sitting President who does not care about soldiers..What an idiot you are! These are the words of a true Obamabot..Can't even form a sentence much less spell words.. This is one of the voters who gave us this president..Matters not what Barry does but believes any lie that spews from his mouth..

Thank you american for reminding SOME of us what actually started this. We wouldn't be over in Iraq and Afghanistan is they hadnt BOMBED US FIRST!!!!! duh! As for our current "President" NObama, I think enough has been said about his absence here. Good thing we still have Bush and Laura to come to the rescue. Otherwise our soldiers who are recovering would be wondering "hmmm wonder where my commander in chief is?????" Well Bush showed up. He should STILL be commander in chief. Sure makes Obama look like stupid.

G.W. and Laura Bush went to Ft. Hood with no fanfare or publicity because they have class. They did the right thing when no one was looking. Our current comic in chief does shout outs and high fives at a news conference announcing the tragedy. The difference is so astounding it erases all doubt about where Obama's priorities are. He stays in Washington to push the idiotic health care bill instead of taking care of business as he should. Good job President Bush!

Im glad we had a great president in office at that time. President Bush and Laura are two of the most sincere people! Thanks former President for keeping this country safe all these years! SO what is it you are trying to say exactly? Are you saying people posting on here are unAmerican? How do you know who has served or is currently serving or not? This is about a visit to Ft Hood. The Bushes, privately, without fanfare chose to visit Ft Hood and for that I personally thank them. I applaude them for doing it because they felt it was a good and right thing to do and didn't need a whole camera crew following them to do it. President Obama has said he will wait for a memorial service to be organized and then will be in attendance. Of course, so he can get a good photo op out of this tragedy. Someone mentioned they thought perhaps Laura Bush was behind the visit and that very well may be true. Where is our current first lady whose main project cause is supposed to be support of the military family? In a good old Sountern term..........apparantly they weren't raised right and just don't know how to act.

Thank you to the President and Laura Bush for representing the Americans by visiting the wounded at Fort Hood. Having worked in countries with less than noble leadership, I've found it necessary for good citizens to do the right and noble thing when leaders fail them.

Our great President easily forgets that our military are who defend are country and protects him and his family. Our conceited, self-centered, wannabe a celebrity not a commander in chief president can't be inconvenienced by this tragedy. What's he gonna do when this happens again, because I am sure it will since obviously these terrorist will realize that Potus and Flotus are not concerned when innocent people are massacred. Just as long as we don't give to much attention to it because we wouldn't want it to take any attention away from Potus and Flotus. Which by the way are ridiculous, childish names which make think of Brangelina, Speidi, Bennifer...again they are celebrity wannabes.

Amazing how someone's true side comes out in a horrific event such as his. Guess all of here at Ft Hood aren't are worthy as his time as all the other countries he goes to...
