KILLEEN (March 7, 2010)—Killeen police cancelled a Silver Alert late Sunday morning that was issued earlier Sunday morning for Wayne Eugene Havens, 76, who was last seen leaving a baseball game just before 8 p.m. Sunday at Shoemaker High School.

The alert was cancelled after family members advised police that Havens had returned home.

“He did not remember where he had been,” police said, “but he did not appear to be in any distress.”

Havens had told family members Saturday night he was going to return to his home on Bonnie Drive, but he never arrived, police said.

He arrived home Sunday morning, police said.

I believe that anonymous owes this family an apology for such rude comment made and suggested. Anonymous must be a low life its self and has nothing better to say than to be rude.

Jennifer. I agree with you 100% on everything except getting on to the jerk about not posting his name. Unless your the only Jennifer in Killeen, then its not like you are "out" there...again, I agree with everything else you said.

Anonymous, as a family member who went through this nerve wracking ordeal this weekend, I can ASSURE you that he was not at a strip club. If you ever have to go through this with one of your family members, I hope that you don't have to hear someone make an awful comment like you did.
