(November 15, 2007)--The Lady Bisons of Lipscomb University in Nashville beat cross-town rival Fisk by 101 points Tuesday night.
The final score was 123-22.
It's not even an NCAA Division I women's basketball record.
The Lady Bisons' margin of victory was one point shy of the all-time mark set back 1986.
Lipscomb coach Frank Bennett wasn't trying to run up the score.
He says he emptied his bench early in the second half, but his players still kept making baskets.
And they couldn't sit on the ball because of the 30-second shot clock.
Couch Bennett complements the other side, saying Fisk played hard but they just played the Lady Bisons on the wrong night.
