(April 22, 2008)--The Baylor baseball team lost to Texas 8-2 Tuesday night. The game was a rare non-conference game between these two longtime rivals.

The Longhorns had nine hits in the ballgame. Baylor had just four in the loss.

Baylor returns to action tomorrow night when they play at Texas State. Nebraska comes to town this weekend for a three game set starting Friday night.

The Bears are now 23-18 on the season. Texas improves to 24-16.
