Iglesias Named To Maxwell Award Watch List Save Email Print

(July 1, 2008)--Oklahoma wideout Juaquin Iglesias is one of 75 players who have been named to the 2008 Maxwell Award Watch List. The award is given annually to the best player in college football.

Iglesias, a Killeen High graduate, had a big year for the Sooners in 2007. He had 68 receptions for 907 yards and 5 touchdowns. He also ran for one score and led the team in kickoff return average.

15 players from the Big 12 were named to the watch list. They are:

Chase Daniel, QB Missouri
Mike Goodson, RB Texas A&M
Jermaine Gresham, TE Oklahoma

Marlon Lucky, RB Nebraska
Jeremy Maclin, WR Missouri
Colt McCoy, QB Texas
