(September 15, 2008)--The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor volleyball team dropped a pair of matches at a tri-match hosted by Wiley College Tuesday night in Marshall. The Cru opened the day with a three-set loss to Our Lady of the Lake before closing out the day with a three-set loss to Wiley College. UMHB is now 2-10 on the season.

UMHB opened the day with a 25-10, 25-18, 25-16 loss to Our Lady of the Lake. Lisa Morgan had a team-best four kills, Erin Maenius had 25 digs and Kayla Marzean recorded seven assists.

The Cru then lost to Wiley College 25-23, 25-18, 25-17. Maenius posted 10 digs and Marzean added 14 assists and three service aces. Sara Hayward posted four kills, two block solos and two block assists. Nicole Cowan and Kelsey Gangl also added four kills apiece.

The Cru will now return home for the first home match of the season and the American Southwest Conference East Division opener. UMHB will host U.T.-Dallas for a 7:00 PM start Friday at the Mayborn Campus Center.
