Pacman Jones Suspended Indefinitely By NFL Save Email Print

A | A | A

(October 11, 2008)--NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has
suspended Adam "Pacman" Jones indefinitely for violating the
league's personal conduct policy.

Jones was involved in an alcohol-related scuffle with one of his
bodyguards at a private party in Dallas on Oct. 7.

The league said the Dallas Cowboys cornerback will miss the next
four games, and Goodell will determine the final length of the
suspension after the Cowboys' game in Washington on Nov. 16.

In a letter Tuesday to Jones, Goodell called the latest incident
the continuation of "a disturbing pattern of behavior and clearly
inconsistent with the conditions I set for your continued
participation in the NFL."

The NFL's investigation comes six weeks after Goodell reinstated
Jones from a 17-month suspension after several run-ins with the law
while with the Tennessee Titans.

I say that it is time to quit tring top sweep the recurring problem under the carpet and do Pacman just like the NFL did Vick when he screwed up

Your right. Prison would be a good place to start!

well it isn't like Jerry Jones hasn't tried to help him get back on the right course.. you can't help those that are not willing to help themselves.

It's really a shame to see a talented athlete go down in flames like this. Someone really needs to mentor Pacman Jones and set him on the right course. He is definitely in self destruct mode!!!
