(November 15, 2008)--Henry Dugat scored 22 points, Quincy Acy finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds in his first college game and Baylor defeated Paul Quinn 108-50 on Saturday night.

Curtis Jerrells scored 17 and Kevin Rogers and LaceDarius Dunn had 16 apiece for the Bears (1-0).

Carl Nelson scored 17 and Ronald Ogoke added 10 points for Paul Quinn (2-3), an NAIA team from Dallas.

Baylor pulled away in the first half with a 32-6 run that began with a pair of free throws by Rogers. Jerrells scored nine points during the run, which ended with Baylor up 40-15 with 7:30 remaining in the first period.

Baylor set a school record with 13 blocked shots, five of them by Acy.
