BELTON (February 16, 2009)--University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s basketball player Tilmon Gaddy has been named American Southwest Conference West Division Player of the Week for the week ending February 16th. Gaddy, a senior wing from Harker Heights High School, averaged 19 points and five rebounds per game in leading the Cru to a 3-0 record last week. He poured in a season-high 32 points, including the last 14 of the game for UMHB in an 86-82 win over Concordia Texas to start the week. Gaddy then added a pair of double-digit scoring efforts in wins over Texas Lutheran and Schreiner University. He takes Player of the Week honors for the second straight week and for the third time overall this season.

The Cru men’s basketball team is currently 16-7 overall and 14-5 in ASC play on the year. The UMHB men will close out the regular season with home games against Sul Ross State and Howard Payne University this week.
