Armstrong Remains A Close Second In Tour De France
Texan Lance Armstrong remains a close second in the overall standings after the sixth stage of the Tour de France Thursday.

BARCELONA, Spain (July 9, 2009)—Texan Lance Armstrong remains a split second behind leader Fabian Cancellara after the sixth stage of the Tour de France Thursday.

Thor Hushovd of Norway won a sprint finish to capture Thursday's stage along rain-slickened roads south of the French border in Spain.

Cancellara of Switzerland stayed just ahead of the seven-time champion after the 113-mile ride from Gerona to Barcelona.

The Tour ends July 26 in Paris.
