WACO (July 9, 2009)--Multiple sources tell KWTX that Bill Brock is leaving Texas Tech to become the new associate head coach of the women's basketball team at Baylor.

Brock is replacing Richard Barron, who left for a job at North Carolina State earlier this week.

Coach Brock is no stranger to Baylor. The veteran coach was a member of the BU staff for six years prior to his stint in Lubbock. In his time at Baylor, Brock coached star post players like Sophia Young and Steffanie Blackmon. He also played a big role on the 2005 national championship team.

Baylor has called for a press conference tomorrow at 1:30 to announce the hiring of a new associate head coach.
