Former Harker Heights Coach Takes Over In Katy I.S.D.

KATY (August 8, 2009)--According to a report in the Houston Chronicle, three Morton Ranch High School coaches have been placed on administrative leave, including head football coach and athletic director Scott Svendsen.
Former Harker Heights head football coach and athletic director Todd McVey has been named interim head coach and athletic coordinator of the Class 5A program.
McVey left Harker Heights last Spring after two seasons as head football coach to take a non-coaching assistant athletic director position with the Katy Independent School District.
McVey was 2-and-17 in two seasons with the Knights.
