Quan Cosby Makes NFL Roster

CINCINATTI (September 5, 2009)--Former Texas Longhorns wide receiver/kick returner Quan Cosby has made the Cincinatti Bengals 53-man roster.
The Mart high school product finished his career second on the all-time University of Texas list for career receptions (212) and and third in receiving yards (2,598).
Cosby was in a heated battle for the final wide receiver spot on the Bengals roster. Many feel that Cosby's special teams abilities help him earn a spot on the squad, as he returned a punt for a touchdown in a pre-season game against St. Louis.
The Bengals open the 2009 season at home against the Denver Broncos on Sunday September 13th.

it is good to see a local kid have success. i remember watching this young man play high school football. he was amazing. congradulations.
