BELTON (September 22, 2009)--University of Mary Hardin-Baylor football player Pi’Dadro Davis has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for his performance in the Cru’s 59-7 victory over Texas Lutheran last Saturday. Davis, a senior wide receiver from Jefferson High School, caught a career-high seven passes for 104 yards and a touchdown in that game. The 100-yard receiving game was the fifth in the last two seasons for Davis. Davis’ seven catches are also tied for the fourth-best single-game total in Cru football history. Davis is the second UMHB football player to earn a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week in as many weeks. Kick returner Bryson Tucker claimed a spot on the honor squad last week.

The Cru is currently 2-0 overall and 1-0 in American Southwest Conference play following the victory over TLU. UMHB will play its first home game of the season this weekend when McMurry University (0-3, 0-1 ASC) comes to Tiger Field for a 6:00 PM kickoff.
