UMHB Soccer Is Moving On Up
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s soccer team has achieved the highest national ranking in the program’s history in this week’s National Soccer Coaches Association of America Top 25 Poll.

BELTON (October 28, 2009)--The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s soccer team has achieved the highest national ranking in the program’s history in this week’s National Soccer Coaches Association of America Top 25 Poll.
The Cru climbed eight spots to #16 in the country in that poll and UMHB remains the only American Southwest Conference program ranked in this week’s top 25.
Ohio Wesleyan took over the top spot in this week’s Top 25 Poll, with defending national champion Messiah College in second place.
UMHB also climbed one spot in this week’s NSCAA West Region rankings, to #2 in the region.
The Cru trails only Trinity University in the West Region rankings.
The Cru is off to the best start in the program’s history with a 13-2 record. UMHB is 11-1 in ASC play this season.
The Cru will close out the 2009 regular season with a 3:00 PM match at Howard Payne University this Saturday in Brownwood.
UMHB will then return home to host the ASC Championship Tournament on November 6th through the 8th at the Cru Sports Plex.
