WICHITA FALLS, Texas (AP) - Krys Buerck of Mesquite caught six
passes for 124 yards and a touchdown as the Texas high school
all-stars defeated Oklahoma 31-to-16 in the 70th Oil Bowl.
Buerck was named the game's outstanding offensive player.
Tyler O'Quin --- a Harding University pledge out of Wylie High
School --- caught a pair of touchdown passes for Texas.
Texas leads Oklahoma 44-17-1 in the historic series.
Dwight Hamilton of Garland was named the game's outstanding
defensive player. He made a touchdown-saving tackle of Oklahoma's
Zack Mincey at the 1-yard-line.
Allen's Nathan Dick completed 10-of-18 passes for 152 yards and
two touchdowns. He will join older brother Casey at Arkansas this
fall.
