AKRON, Ohio (AP) - LeBron James will be playing summer ball.
The Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star forward says he will be part of
the U-S national team in next month's FIBA (FEE'-bah) America's
Tournament, where the Americans will try to qualify for the 2008
Olympics.
James says he's had enough time off since playing in the N-B-A
Finals. He says he doesn't know how much he's going to play or how
extensively, but he'll play.
James had said previously he was "50-50" about playing for
Team U-S-A this summer. He played on the 2004 U-S Olympic team and
for the American squad that won a bronze medal at last summer's
world championships.
