(July 17, 2007)-- Prosecutors in Payne County, Okla. filed a misdemeanor drunken driving charge Tuesday against Oklahoma State basketball player Marcus Dove.

Campus police arrested Dove just after 2 a.m. Sunday morning after his car drifted across the center line.

He spent about seven hours in jail before being released on a personal recognizance bond.

On Monday, OSU head coach Sean Sutton announced the indefinite suspension of Dove from the basketball team.

Dove is to return to court Aug. 20.

He's one of two returning seniors on the Cowboys' basketball team.

He averaged 4.7 points and 4.5 rebounds per game last year and was the Big 12 Conference co-defensive player of the year.
