Lifelong Saints fan Jones hoping to make mark with Texans

HOUSTON (AP) - Houston rookie Jacoby Jones was such a big Saints
fan growing up in New Orleans that his favorite thing -- as a boy
-- was his Archie Manning replica uniform.
The receiver has now traded in that gear for a Texans uniform.
Jones is looking ahead to November 18th when Houston will host
the Saints.
But don't think that Jones will have any mixed emotions --
because he says he's now a Texan.
Jones is so excited about the game that he's planning to rent a
bus to transport his family and friends from New Orleans.
The Texans picked Jones in the third round of this year's draft
out of Division Two Lane College.
Jones had 68 receptions for 822 yards and six touchdowns in 2006
to earn Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference player of the
year honors.
He's expected to contribute on Houston special teams.
