OU prepares for first road game

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - The fourth-ranked Oklahoma Sooners are
getting ready for their first road game of the year and coaches say
they're excited to learn how the team will handle it.
Friday's game at Tulsa may not be much of a trip but offensive
coordinator Kevin Wilson is expecting a loud and rowdy crowd
cheering for the Golden Hurricane.
It's also the first start outside Norman for freshman OU
quarterback Sam Bradford.
Bradford has thrown 11 touchdown passes and only one
interception in leading the Sooners to a 3-0 start.
Wilson says the trip gives OU a chance to work on managing the
sound and crowd noise. He says it appears the new athletic complex
in Tulsa's north end zone is creating an echo and may have caused
problems for BYU last week.
