(December 30, 2013) Baylor head coach Art Briles has a unique way of saying certain things. During his media press conference before the Texas game, Briles said, "It's not a game to where we're going to leave the kitchen sink outside. We're taking it with us."
"He says something like that everyday," said running back Glasco Martin. "Maybe other guys get it, but I don't ever get what he's talking about."
When talking about the 2011 game at Kansas, that saw the Bears come back from 21 points down in the 4th quarter to win in overtime, Briles said, "I'm thinking about going incognito. I felt like I stole something last time I was up there."
"Those things just come off the top of his head. That stuff to me cracks me up because my grandpa was like that," said quarterback Bryce Petty. "Just really far-out analogies and different responses to things, so I almost feel at home when he starts talking like that."
