WACO (February 13, 2012) -- The McLennan Highlanders and Concordia University JV split today's doubleheader in Austin.

MCC took game one 10-0 with Matt Walker getting the win on the mound. Ty Marlow and Jonathan Mejia both recorded a double and a home run. Marlow was 2-3 at the plate and Mejia went 2-4. Reid Coover was also 2-4 in the game.

The Concordia JV bounced back to take game two 6-5. Brandon Holub took the loss for MCC. Marlow once again led the Highlanders at the plate, going 2-3 with two doubles.

MCC returns to action on Friday, traveling to Big Spring for a 2 p.m. game with Howard.
