(February 8, 2012) -- The McLennan Community College men’s basketball team jumped four spots to No. 15 in the latest national rankings released Tuesday by the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I.

The Highlanders have a 21-3 record overall and are 5-1 in North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference play. MCC is the only squad from the north division of Region V to make the poll.

Three schools from Region V West are listed in the poll. South Plains College remains at No. 1, and Odessa College moved up four spots to No. 10. Midland College is receiving votes.

The Highlanders visit Weatherford College on Wednesday.
