(August 15, 2011) -- Baylor wideout Josh Gordon has left the Baylor football program, the move confirmed by Bears head coach Art Briles.
Briles on Gordon: "Circumstances have unfolded for Josh that require him to pursue his collegiate degree and athletic career at a different university. I’m appreciative of the efforts he has made the past two seasons for this football program.”
Gordon emerged as a go-to receiver for the Bears last season, earning All-Big 12 third team honors as a sophomore. He caught 42 passes, for 714 yards and seven touchdowns.

The wide receiver will transfer to finish out his eligibility, Utah is one school under consideration by Gordon.
