Each week in Sports Friday, we rank the ten best teams in Central Texas regardless of class. It's our attempt at ranking the best schools pound for pound. That means in this poll, a six man team is on equal footing with the biggest 5A teams. Here is this week's Power Ten:

What about Waco High? They have played some pretty tough teams, and beat a very tough 5A (Stony Point) team.

That's right La Vega is in the top 5, because we work hard in everything we do. Everyone gives us the benifit of the doubt just because we are in a bad environment. That has nothing to do with it, we're a great school with great students. We love our team. Yeah, we may have lost a game, but that doesn't mean anything. We're going to come back and come out on top this year, no matter what any other school thinks about us. So watch out, because we don't back down from anything. im so lgad we moved bck up to being a 5A school because we would have never ranked number 1 but i love copperas cove dawgs they are the best shout out go to all my friends on varsity : d hudge, donyae, brelan, jesse, danny, justin, dustin, nik, byrd, brandon, darius, dj, and everyone else.

how is la vega ahead of Rosebud Lott when they have lost a game and Rosebud is 5-0 that aint right Rosebud Lott has kicked tail and took names so we should be number 1 or at least in the top three Rosebud has brought it around this year and we are still not in the top three it aint right
